Assemble Papers launch

Phew! Our publication Assemble Papers launched last night here at the studio. Over 300 people dropped by to help us celebrate the official “warming” of our self-built space as well as the flick of the internet “on” button for Assemble Papers. Our hero and godmother of culture Penny Modra (editor of The Thousands) was our guest speaker and our own Quino and Euge said a few words of welcome to an exceptionally good looking crowd (what’s your secret people!?) on the mic. Each Friday morning we’ll post out one or two articles lovingly crafted by the Assemble Papers team via our free newsletter. Thanks to the sultry tunes and good humour of our favourite music purveyor DJ Simon Winkler (of Breaking and Entering on Triple R FM) and the best inland sailor this side of the Pacific, Lois Kerr of the Beaufort Bar and Sailor Jerry for moreish whiskies and bartender flair. Also big thanks to Raph and the Taco Truck for keeping our punters well fed, Kaaran and Rekorderlig for the cider spritzers and the fellas at Mountain Goat for some tasty beers.
