Assemble Papers Issue #2!

It’s exciting times here at Assemble HQ – our second print edition has left the press. Content for this issue has been curated around the theme ‘The Space Between’, inspired by Melbourne’s new MPavilion annual temporary architecture commission and to the ‘choreography’ of the spaces that surround and connect architectural structures. Turn the pages for interviews with iconic Melbourne City Designer, Rob Adams, musings from OMA’s David Gianotten, alongside perspectives on modernist pioneer Roy Grounds, a profile on a recent project by local studio Edwards Moore, and insights into the genre-defying body architect Lucy McRae. Thank you to Scanlan Theodore and MPavilion for partnering on this issue, to Tristan Main for the design and typesetting, and, as always, huge thanks to our readers and contributors who continue to sustain our efforts. Pick up your copy (for free!) at MPavilion, Scanlan Theodore, selected Aesop stores and other like-minded shops, cafes and galleries throughout Melbourne.
